Your palletes are stored in your ArkenforgeData/MyAssets/CPresets folder. If you just back up your ArkenforgeData/MyAssets folder, all of your imported content will be saved 🙂
Looks like it’s a permissions issue. The easiest fix would be to change your data folder in the Launcher > Settings > Installation tab to move it outside the Documents folder.
The Documents and Program Files folders are protected by Windows, so it can cause unauthorised access issues.

We support gif and PNG sequences 🙂
You can hold ALT and hover over an object to see its name and pack. You can also use the eyedropper tool on the left-hand side of the Cartographer module to select any placed asset and set it as the active placement.
They don’t exist yet unfortunately
It isn’t doable currently I don’t think, but we’ll be updating our file importer in the next public patch 🙂
In theory, setting a new start point should cause the player box position to change when the map is loaded, but it won’t save the scale.
You can set a start point by going to the Petals tab in Cartographer and selecting ‘set start point’, then clicking on the map.
This feature is planned for our player screen update in the future 😊
There isn’t actually a ‘close map’ function. A map will stay open until you load a different map
