A feature to include display of movement lines that show the path taken and # of feet moved (e.g., as in maptools) would be very useful during sessions!

During our session last night, thought of another boon that’d be very helpful when moving a token group (party) through a map – some manner of rotating the group’s orientation (say, centered on the blue selection icon) as the DM is clicking/dragging the group.

This way the DM can dynamically reorient the party’s direction as they traverse through, say, a turn in a dungeon corridor; as it stands now, one needs to stop the token objects at a turn, then manually move each token to the new “marching order” (say, to accomodate for a 90deg left turn) and then continue movement.

Perhaps tieing this rotation to the mouse wheel, and or to a keyboard hotkey?

    Very interesting!

The facing direction of tokens isn’t something we’d considered, but we can definitely try to accommodate it

Another request, fwiw – having a way to quickly group/ungroup 2 or more tokens together would be useful. One use case would be a conjurer with his/her familiar (e.g., raven that can see infrared and convey that ability to their user but only when perched on shoulder), other use case would be a party that’s moving together.
